I don't know Danno, can we book him?
The charges are certainly a reflection on his character and some of these women might still file lawsuits along the lines of the Clinton suits (Was there more than one? It seems like there were dozens. :) ) but none of the charges seem to rise to the level of felony.
Pinching, fondling, squeezing and cupping left unreported by grown women fro 2-20+ years is not going to excite a civil litigator much less a prosecutor.
By all appearances he may have been cleaning up his act for the last couple of years and I suspect the CA voters don't really care about all those old charges.
I don't think Bustemonte can win and the best hope for the dems would be for him to drop out and give the voters a clear choice between lechery and cluelessness. I won't be surpised at a light turnout.
It will be interesting to see if a guy with his shady past and apparently questionable character can do anything to help CA. If he pulls it off and governs well he will have dealt a set back to negative campaigning in the future, at least in lotus land.
