Personally, I think that NPR/PBS consumers would continue to knock the sox off the Fox consumers, no matter how you slanted the questions.
If the study was still set up to measure the results in accord with how much consumers agreed with NPR, it indeed wouldn't matter at all how you slanted the questions.
