I've camped in grizzly country. This bozo went around telling people and schoolkids that bears were not particularly dangerous. You can imagine that some kid grows up and upon encountering a real bear in the wild does not take proper avoidance preceedures. Not good. Not only that, his continued close presence habituated otherwise shy wild animals to humans. They could subsequently approach other people and lord knows what would happen.

What does he do? Gets himself eaten along with another human being. Plus, he gets the 2 brown bears killed. They have to be shot in case they acquired a taste for human meat. Just like they acquired the ability to approach humans.
