re: Same old Mars Society Story - Life in the Tin Can

Life Inside Tall Tin Can in Utah Is All Mars
BLAINE HARDEN . NY Times . 23 march 2002

"They go outside in white canvas space suits trimmed in duct tape. Their helmets are made from plastic light fixtures and white bullet-shaped trash-can lids. In their habitation module (the thing that looks like a silo), they sit with their laptops late into the cold desert night, typing up reports of simulated Mars disasters."

Junk science appealing to people who no nothing about the real Mars. Go ahead, pretend all you want, meanwhile real astronauts who have gone to the moon and back will set you straight. Other Apollo astronauts also feel the Moon is the next step for humans as well. Of course you know so much more than them!

"Commander Mark to Earth, my canvas space suit is getting hot in the Utah desert, what should I do?" General Zubes responds "take it off, you aren't really on Mars". Commander Mark replies "I'm not"?

Zoot zoot...
