Why can't we tinker with evolution a little?
By taking wild endangered animals and moving some of them around to other habitats. Raise several dozen white tigers and move them to Northern Canada and Siberia. They might die, but then again they might thrive. Their white fur with black stripes would blend in nicely with their new habitat. I'm sure that over the course of a few thousand years they'd be just as at home as a polar bear.
I'd also like to move some walruses to Antarctica and giant snapping turtles to an island in the Galapagos.
