If I never see that kind of weather again, it will be too soon. I remember trying to get to work while it was still dark, and having to shoot ether out of a can into the carburator of my old Delta 88 to get the car started. At least you rarely got the bitter cold at the same time as you got the quarter inch of glare ice on the windshield.
Don't miss snow either, although the rest of my family does.
I suspect the reason that Minnesotans tend toward socialism in their elections is that they hope to go to hell someday where it's warm. ;)
