Hi SM and all
Your theory is interesting but I have a few questions about it, namely that eternal Universes should imply eternal Life, so where are the ETIs from previous Universes? Either they found a way to cross over between Universes to survive or they get scrubbed by their own Universes. That's kind of depressing if true.
An interesting alternative theory is that collapsars don't create an event horizon, and instead become Massive Eternally Collapsing Objects, according to the theoretical development by Robertson and Leiter...

...these MECOs have high intrinsic magnetic fields and gradually leak away mass-energy over the next ~ 10^18 years or so. Not as long lasting as black-holes, but make for an interesting energy source in the far(ish) future.
What MECOs theory implies is that there are no natural event horizons, which saves string theory from sticky problems.
