The problem I see with just using gloves in a GP suit is the need for a wrist dam and the possibility of it's failure.
Anyone should see by your data in this post. That MCP gloves are superior to normal EMU gloves. But so is the whole suit if you plan to walk anywhere.
What might be a good publicity stunt is to have a MCP suit made and have one of these folk jumping out of high altitude balloons wear it.
