I'm basing it on the fact the charge $20m to fly a civilian to space. I'm sure there's got to be some profit in there but for simplicity let's just say $20m. The shuttle by contrast costs an estimated $600m per launch. For 25 years the shuttle has hobbled the American space program. Kill it and the space station NOW.
