Converting Word document to ANSI problem
Just recently i've been given a new assignment in the army outside my MOS (military job). One of the things I need to do is get several thousands of word documents into a SQL database. I've writen the script (perl) to get the ASCII files parsed, so if I can get a script to convert word documents into ASCII I would be set.
I talked to a contractor and he suggested that I write a script in VB, I've never messed with VB, would it be something relatively easy to do?
