VB executables generally like Windows, and really really don't like anything else (generally) :-)
Admittedly, though, portability concerns don't make it stand out from the crowd all that much. Even our beloved Java has issues...especially if you're distributing an applet (Sheesh, don't get me started). But I don't think too many people travel that bumpy road anymore...not if the app involved is of any real consequence, anyway. (If I've offended anyone's sensibilities by saying that, just chalk it up to me being an ignorant cretin).
