Computers do no end the drive if anything (depending on the game) it encouarges it. I,ve been playing games for the last 21 years and they showen the direction we can go. It could be said that startrek ends the drive for exporation too but i,m sure you would not agree with that. most ppl know games/tv are not real i for one am reading this page not playing a computer game (i,ll unpause the game later).

we need ppl to be showen new news about space not re-runs of stuff that becomes common place. this is why the interest seems to have gone down lack of goals and successes that make sense to joe public. schools now are spending less time talking about space i remeber when vouager I & II where discovering something new every day and the papers where doing charts every month with new moons and details on the planets.

we need a vouager III & IV TYPE Program but what targets? what new objects and information excites joe public ?.

a new Space shuttle or Space craft thats bigger and better would excite the public not something smaller and more reliable (I,m not saying don,t make the more safer & reliable space craft). We will also see a trend of when a space agency starts doing stuff thats new the others will find more investment and make more progress to compete.

i could say more but just think the ppl that are reading this meaning 'YOU' are showing some interest in space so theres hope just wished i was more involved (telescope still on my xmas list maybe i should get it my self ;)).
