Frankly after 911 it is clear that taking the assumption that intel is good enough to ID an enemy before the fact is a false assumption.
What if Bush decided the opposite and was proven wrong, with saddam supporting terror attacks us on with his now proven WMD programs?

He is the one with responsibility and accountability to keep us safe, not to be perfect about intel.
The second guessing game some on the left are choosing to play is actually a reflection of just why those people should not be given great responsibility.
