re: Rats- "fussion" is correctly spelled as fission

Who am I to cast aspersions at spelling? :-)))

My understanding is that there has been much less research into He3 fusion that D-T fusion. Given its advantage of not being a neutron emiting reaction I am suprised it has not been investigated further. Most research, again in my understanding, has focused on its use as a positron source for industrial and medical applications rather than power. The two follow on questions are: how much more difficult is H3 fusion to achieve than D-T fusion, and to what extent has this, rather than shotages of terrestrial He3, discouraged research?

Cheers

Jon
