I have seen absolutely no evidence whatsoever that going into Iraq with the full and enthusiastic support of the United Nations and every other nation on Earth including Antarctica, would have resulted in any different actions on the part of the Baathist guerillas. There would be no fewer attacks, no fewer bombings, no fewer sabotages, no fewer deaths.

Why in the name of God can't I get this through to people??

If you are cynical enough to say that the deaths would be just fine with you since there wouldn't be as many American dead, say so.
