re: Washington Post story and the original sources
I read the WashPost article a second time. I think this probably isn't the best example to hang your argument of media bias on, because the source document in question is not only long, it's choppy and disorganized. I couldn't write a coherent story about it after one reading, and it sounds like you couldn't either. I'd venture to say that if Cordesman had taken the time to write up his notes in a coherent fashion, the Post's story--and the hypothetical stories you and I might write--would come out very differently.
