If that is an accurate definition of "bribery," then why isn't every lobbyist, campaign contributor, and congressman currently in the hoosegow? Is the secret word "corruptly?"

I really doubt ANYONE in Washington would want to open this can of worms legally. A lot of them could quite easily wind up in the same boat.
