It is irrefutable that Bush has lost America's moral leadership in the world. He failed miserably in rallying international support for the war and then fought it anyway. Now most of the world thinks we're the next Nazi Germany. Few of our major allies likes or trusts us. This by far is Bush's biggest failure as president. Diplomatically, this administration has been a disaster.
By contrast, under Clinton we were viewed by most of the world as a friendly benevolent giant. He used force with multilateral support, or unilaterally only to stop genocide.
Our debt was conquered and our economic growth literally unprecedented. The world looked up to us as a symbol of envy and inspiration. Most of the world LOVED Clinton and saw us as the "good guys." America had far more moral leadership in the world under Bill Clinton! How's that for a switch?
