NYT mentions protests in another story...
Here.
Of course, this is more or less an update of the first story. Extent of the coverage:
In contrast, a heavily policed march in central Baghdad on Wednesday, organized peacefully by the country's major political parties, drew thousands of Iraqis to protest attacks by guerrilla fighters, which have injured and killed Iraqi civilians as well as occupiers.
The bank robbery was interesting. If this was done by the guerillas, and not just some opportunistic crooks, it is very significant. I had the impression that the Baathists made off with a huge pile of cash during the war, and that they had a nearly endless supply. What does it mean if they are robbing banks?
Remember, I supported the theory that the attack on the cash convoy a while back was a robbery attempt, not just an attack on our troops.
