Well...
It does make some sense when you read article like these older ones.
China is also developing micro-or nano-satellites capable of flying near or attaching themselves to enemy satellites, as a parasite. The nano-satellite can destroy or perform the non-lethal jamming option. From

The Chinese military have, it has been reported by a Hong Kong's Sing Tao newspaper, been developing an anti satellite (ASAT) system which is close to testing in space. The system has recently completed ground testing.
The ASAT system, codenamed "parasitic satellite" has been developed and built by the Small Satellite Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Space Technology (CAST).
The system has a number of novel features and would require a high level of technical competence to deploy and use. It relies on a nanosatellite which is attached to the target satellite at some time before it is required. The nanosatellite remains dormant until it is activated by command from the ground at which time it interferes with or destroys the target satellite. The ASATs, apparently, can be used against a wide range of different types of satellites used for communications, early warning, navigation, reconnaissance, laser weapons and manned spaceflight. Different orbits, presumably from LEO to GEO, can also be targeted.
The ASAT system consists of three components.
Firstly, the parasitic satellite itself, which is of nanosatellite size to conceal their existence when attached to their target spacecraft, can weigh anything from less than 1 kg to several tens of kg. They are built from miniaturised solar panels, batteries, computers, CCD cameras, communications, propulsion and combat systems.
A mother satellite which delivers the parasitic satellite to its target spacecraft.
Ground control equipment. Costs are reported to be 0.1 to 1% of those for a typical satellite.
I remember reading a recent article online about this technology but can't seem to locate it.
Even though this concept my not be a reality right now it is something of importance for our military IMO.
