Never mind what some in the Gore Campaign wanted to do.
Gore specifically nixed that move. To the best of my recall, they were never contested in a court room.
(Despite the plain fact that they could have been. Funny how old voting procedures that have worked for years should suddenly be seen as disenfranchisement in this case........)
