The USSC in fact did rule correctly: the Florida sham attempt to rewrite the laws of election in Florida by Florida courts after the fact, along with gore's blatant attempt to selectively and creatively recount ballots over and over until a desired result was reached was a violation of the Federal Voting Rights Act.
