The worst thing anyone interested in peace and security in Iraq could do is to subsidize the so-called "Iraqi resistance."
Despite the fact that the war was a terrific mistake, peace activists should be supporting an expeditious and successful transition to democratic government in Iraq. The "Iraqi resistance" has no interest in democracy - and no interest in peace and security.
