What Ed doesn't seem to understand is the connection between the German government's willingness to help pay for the reconstruction of Iraq - something that would benefit our soldiers in harms way - and Mr. Bush slicing German business out of reconstruction contracts.
Instead he confuses the silly posturing of a small group of radical idiots with the country as a whole and the interests of reasonable German businesspersons to support the reconstruction of Iraq. Of course, this kind of confusion on Ed's part is par for the course.
