It just gets worse.....

When you have Iraqis deserting their posts for securing their own homeland, it's not long before the whole mess goes downhill. And you're right. This is more burden to the American tax-payer and without Iraqi recruits, Bush will be pulling them out of a hat stateside. He's already shown us he has no qualms about using our country's military to secure his profits elsewhere on this planet.
Trying to find partners BEFORE the invasion by promising them money and arms, or DENYING them the same AFTER is a brutish strong-arm tactic typical of the Bush Posse. Now that we're in there, alone and sinking, he has the GAUL to rebuke those who finally came around to help him. It doesn't take a psychology major to see that this President is going about national and international diplomacy the wrong way.
You won't get what you want through co-ercion.
>"Mr. Bush will have to buy off the Iraqi people by guaranteeing them jobs subsidized by American taxpayers - something Mr. Bush wouldn't even remotely consider for unemployed Americans."
If Bush would have put as much time, energy and money into securing AMERICA, her peoples and infrastructure, he could have saved himself thousands of lives, national and international animosities and been one of our greatest presidents. But NO, his selfish monetary interests and that of his cronies are stirring up wicked dissent world wide. You're right, Bush is an idiot. He is selfish and misguided and can't SEE where this attitude will bring him to.
When the world re-aligns it's alliances against us (and that's what he's doing), it won't be long before he brings the ca-ca right to our doorstep.
