Sorry Bowser.

But if you fly airliners into my office buildings, I get to bomb the shit out of your country. And if you shelter the guys that did it, I still get to bomb your country. Your hearts and minds don't mean shit to me. I even get to put my boots all over it, root you out, and kill you like the scurvy dogs you are. I don't think that's an unreasonable attitude or an overreaction at all. Collateral damage? Hey, isn't that what war is all about? At least, we give warning shots.

I know its not all that simple, that straightforward, or that cut-and-dry. I know thaere are mitigations and extenuating circumstances and two sides to every story and we're not always saints and they're not always monsters, but its where I draw the line.

I don't want to steal your oil, or put a puppet state on your land, or intimidate your neighbors, or plant my bases on it, or bring freedom to it, or eliminate the WMDs, or save capitalism and fight communism or introduce democracy. But I draw the line at the airliners part. Next time, they'll think twice before they do that.

Even Dubya got that part right.
