Mars Express is best hope for contact with Beagle2
Spacedaily: "Although both the telescope and NASA's craft will continue their daily sweeps, perhaps the best chance of hearing from the missing probe lies with its mothership, Mars Express, which is now orbiting the Red Planet.
But the ESA orbiter will need until January 4, after completing a series of final orbital manoeuvres, before it can be in position to receive any signal from Beagle 2, if it is in fact alive and well."
Spirit lands around 9:00pm PST Jan 3rd. I'm not sure how long it will be before we know anything but I'm hoping for a double dose of good news on the 4th.
