Beagle 2 had to deploy properly on the first night, though, to charge its batteries. This rescue endeavor seems like a publicity SCAM, meant to allure tax dollars.
Beagle 2 had to deploy properly on the first night, though, to charge its batteries. I'm not saying this didn't happen but what are the odds, in light of the other problems that we've seen... Doesn't this whole "rescue Beagle 2" endeavor seems like a publicity stunt which was planned ahead of time in hopes of boosting the pool of European taxpayer funds from which monopolistic Astrium could draw?
