Where do you get this junk from?

TOM: "I've noticed that some Democrats seem to view elections as a horrible inconvenience, something that has to be endured like a dental appointment."

MY REPLY: How utterly ridiculous. Seems to me its the Republicans who don't plan to run a primary this year. The Democrats have a field of nine individuals running competing for their party's nomination. The GOP has a field of one. Seems to me its the Dem's who are the only ones conducting a primary election.

TOM: "They have to go out and mingle with the peons, pretend that they give a rat's ass about the poor, and break their backs trying to convince voters that they're policies are something completely different from those of the socialists."

MY REPLY: More rotgut. Do you make this stuff up, or do you read on Rush Limbaugh's website?

TOM: "You can practically see them grinding their teeth. It is so OBVIOUS to them that they are best suited to rule by virtue of superior brains, superior morality, and knowledge of the Truth about how it's best for the State and the elite to run things."

MY REPLY: You're sounding awfully insecure about this, Tom. Excuse me but arrogance and moral superiority doesn't respect partylines. Pat Robertson's belief that God has chosen Bush is one of the better examples of this.

TOM: "Here in California, it's become obvious over several elections that the respect of the Democratic Party for the "will of the people" lasts only so long as the "will of the people" is in lockstep with their agenda. "

MY REPLY: More simpleminded claptrap. Democrats and Republicans, alike, seek public office because they believe the know and represent the "will of the people." Remember a majority of Americans voted for Al Gore in 2000. Wasn't that the "will of the people?" Keep in mind that what it is people "will" for changes over time.
