re: NASA TV
Still watching the retrospectives on NASA TV, including that animation of the Rover leaving the pad and buzzing around on Mars like the Dukes of Hazzard. In real life, the rovers will creep along in a barely perceptible movement (about an average of 1 cm/sec, enough to travel the length of a football field in 2 1/2 hours). I wonder if this is going to frustrate the general public, who might be expecting a lot more territory to be covered?
