From where I sit, the job market is just as bleak as it has been.
A major supermarket chain and a separate drug chain in my region both just went belly up. Thousands of workers lost their jobs.
The technology employment sector is still as dead as a doornail. I simply don't hear of ANYBODY getting jobs in software. The jobs that are advertised simply do not exist. The recovery seems to be rather weak, so far.
