Hans, why make fun of people who sound too full of it on the surface when you've spent years exploring what's under the surface? If we don't pour the grains of salt right on your popcorn, shakers full of salt are available right in the lobby of the theatre. It's well known that Hoagland's presentation style is often a short blurb lacking disclaimers, that's tied into the Coast-to-Coast appearances, where the next thing Hoagland will always do is say that a: we don't know for sure b: we need more data and c: the millions of Coast-to-Coast listeners need to get on NASA's back so that we get it.

You can say it isn't fair that the grain of salt misses anyone who doen't hear the Coast-to-Coast appearance or subscribe to Hoagland's message board, but how many times has the request to hit up NASA for precisely that reason, found itself included in TEM's webpage text?

I can't think of anyone in the anomalist community who needs to be hoisted up the flagpole in their long underwear all of the sake of clarification, and any other reason for it is something that really is a very old joke by now.
