<a href=" http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A10334-2004Jan12?language=printer " Support is less when the poll question invokes Bush's involvement.

Note: Democrats are evenly divided on the plan... But when it is described as "Bush's plan" support falls to less than 1 in 3.

So this just another exaample of "Democrats would support it except that Bush proposed it"

If it was Al Gore's plan, they'd all be whooping an hollaring that it is about time we had a pro-science President.
