I do think it is a bit sad that in our culture Christianity is probably the only religion you can make fun of in public and still be politically correct. I remember the reaming I got for condemning the Muslim fan club of the prisoners in Guantanamo.

Also remember, I have pointed out screwball leftist sites like A.N.S.W.E.R., Moveon.org, Democrats.com, Democraticunderground.com, and others and have been told in no uncertain terms that these are just the bare radical fringes of the leftist movement, of no real concern, and of no influence on the thinking of the liberals in America. This despite the fact that some, like Moveon.org, are massively funded and have vast political influence.

If I were to open up the list of leftist nutcase sites to include those generated by two guys in a basement, you would not believe the kinds of things that show up there.

Just for fun, try to think of a conservative screwball equivalent of Moveon.org. The closest anyone usually gets to a widely-known right-wing site is the Freepers.
