I bow to you as the expert in this field. Digging up fringe wierdos really doesn't interest me. It is too much like work.

On the other hand, I don't think that I have anything like the statistical info necessary to go along with the assertion that lots of "leftists" are wierdos, but few "rightists" are. And as I mentioned before, I'm way too lazy to find out.

Instead, I'm more comfortable to assume that being conservative (or liberal) does not shield you from mental illness. I doubt there is a statistical difference in mental afflictions between the two groups. Could be wrong -- I'll change my opinion when I see study results.
