Edwards will probably be the nominee, and he (unfortunatly) would be the toughest candidate for Bush to beat. I think Bush has to have some things go real bad for Edwards to actually win, but he will put up a much more difficult fight than John Kerry.
I have no idea where he stands on issues like Space, abortion, the environment, NAFTA, etc...I hope he is pro space in a big way. (Wouldn't it be great if in the debtes the candidates actually got in an argument over who was actually more pro space and technology?)
Right now Edwards actually has the fact that he is an unknown on these issues going for him.
I think Kerry's campaign will stagnate as people begin to compare him more and more to Al Gore. Flip-flops re-inventing himself, and all...
Despite what the Terry McAuliff wing of the Democratic party thinks, most people, Democrats included really don't want another Bill Clinton. They may want Edward's with his Bobby Kennedy looks and fill in the blank hopes for the future.

P.S. Edwards really doesn't want to saddle himself with Hillary Clinton. He can win on his own. I really think he is the one coming out of Iowa in the driver's seat.
Space/Science » in reply to Research Triangle put Carolina on the map, and it's OUTSIDE of the NASA center paradigm.
On this I agree with Limbaugh
