After careful study I got a CD player with MP3 ability, it cost a lot less and I can have CD’s burned with over ten hours of tunes. Cost, on clearance at Wally World 18 bucks (US), and the sound quality is excellent.
I cannot see any reason to change to overly priced gadgets just because. I can carry 100 hours of music in decent sound quality in a small CD case. The guy who burns my CD’s does it for free, all I have to do is give him the blanks, at about 20 cents apiece.
Given my taste in music it is the best way for me anyway, while I listen to an eclectic range of music most of my favorites are not what you might hear on commercial radio.
One of my CD’s that should be worn out is Drum Medicine, David and Steve Gordan. Sequioa Records That ain't played on the Top 50 stations for sure!
