The anthropromorphic causes of global warming have been proven without a doubt.
The oil companies offer the True Believers some thin thread upon which they can hang. There is no more reason to look at their "evidence" than there was to look at the tobacco companies "evidence". Trumped up, simply something for the True Believers to point to. And the Fundamental Christians don't need any reason for their beliefs.
The only rational thing to do is ignore them they way one would any other person who believed the tobacco companies and proceed with what makes sense.
We (rational peoploe) don't know what will happen with global warming, though I believe a few hunter gatherers will be roasting cockroaches in about 300 years, if the radiation from the wars over fresh water hasn't gotten them. But we (rational people) do know it's a reality, it's happening exceedingly fast compared to other changes, and we (humanity) aren't prepared for it.
Homo Sapiens Sapiens is the biggest flop in the Homo species, that's for sure. In our arrogance we call ourselves "wise". We won't be remembered, but we did in most of the planet.
Couldn't stop it if we tried. And no one in the US has the guts to sacrifice and try.
