Personally, I find Saddam squatting in a cell to be a much more reliable assurance that he will never again be a threat, than your personal certification that had he remained in power, he and his sons would never have been a threat to us or his neighbors.
And your approval of sanctions that probably killed far more people than our military actions ever did is somewhat puzzling.
