As I patiently pointed out earlier, it is irrelevant to the larger picture that, in 1995, one or even two defectors declared all the weapons destroyed. A much larger number of defectors, over the whole decade, were describing complex weapons programs and terrorist connections, and other defectors were all over the map in between.
Before the war, intelligence people needed much more information to decide who was lying and who was not, and in the long run, this information was not forthcoming until after we invaded Iraq.
Now, it may be a habit of yours to simply decide someone is telling the truth just from instinct. Lord knows from some of your previous posts that your bullshit filter has holes you could fly a condor through.
But you know what? I'll bet money you will make the same damn point a day or so from now.
Frankly, I'm writing a lot of these responses more for the benefit of those who actually want to figure things out than for you.
