twenty Questions
One of my favourite lampoonings of the "follow the water" strategy is to liken NASA's search for water and life on Mars to a game of "Twenty Questions":-
With Viking, we asked "Are you George Washington?" With Pathfinder it was "Are you Ben Franklin?".
Now Spirit has asked "Are you Bill Clinton?" and Opportunity is asking "Are you George Bush?".
For God's sake! We haven't even asked the questions "Are you human, male, and a President of the USA?"
Some of this seems to have rubbed-off on Gary!
BTW Gary, be careful you don't get too excited - the bubble could still burst!
