This begs a question...
...if a volcanic origin for martian Hematite is to be considered
a serious possibility, instead of an aquatic origin, then are there
detectable deposits of Hematite near/around a martian volcanic peak
like "Olympus Mons" [it's the only one I could name off the top of my head]?
