I like dogs

but I am cautious around Pit Bulls and Dobermans. Nothing against them but they are known to be aggressive.

I once got bite by a Pekinese but I have never been bitten by a Pitt Bull or Doberman.

I love to eat but I avoid restaurants with a history of food poisoning.

Profiling can be taken to unreasonable extremes but using our powers of reason is not unreasonable.
