Who would believe that Gary Hart fell like a sack of spuds for an extra-marital affair. I doubt that Hart's affair was an ongoing thing makes much difference. For many years the press ignored indiscretions by candidates, then there was Hart and then Clinton changed the landscape forever, but only for the dems. Republicans are still held to a higher standard.

Hell, Kerry will be the toast of Europe if it all proves to be true.

Interesting speculation on the leaking. Why couldn't it just be snooping by the tabloid types? Obviously Drudge has some sources but the Inquirer is hot on it and is putting out a lot more information.
