Said the Beatles were just "gussied up cowboy music" (think she was referring to the guitars, but I was never sure).

When she hit 55, she went completely nuts and became a huge fan. Sisters and I kept shaking our heads and wondering if she was a pod person. She was madly in love with that Aerosmith Tyler guy, and kept trying to convince us of how intensely "beautiful" he was. Must have been the MTV effect?
