Rare bird sighting
Turns out, Whiteman AFB isn't all that far from here, especially not as the bomber flies. Whether a result of point of origin, wind direction for the landing approach, or what, a B-2 overflew the neighborhood this morning just when I happened to be outside enjoying the unseasonable warmth. Fortunately, my binoculars were close at hand, and was able to follow it for a while. Just before I lost it in the thin cloud layer, it banked - the edge-on view was a thin black line, no more.
