Found an old article by Hoagland from his pre-Hoaxland days about Mars
It was from 1977, published in Analog.
It was fairly well written, fact based and reasonable.
Something happened to him around the time he wrote his first book on the hill at Cydonia.
I used to think he was just a con-artist. Now I think he is insane.
But his ability to lead others into his madness is incredible.
The way he devolved into govt. coverup and grand physics and his "Angstrom Prize" is sad to watch.
