Hoagland's success...

...is quite ephemeral. The man lives in a mobile home in New Mexico and doesn't really make much money selling psuedoscience. He's really a pathetic character who attracts only a small number of ragtag believers who don't have much money themselves to pay for whatever it is he sells. Anyone who has to exaggerate his resume as Hoagland does is really not worth worrying too much about. The exaggerations speak for themselves.

When he was younger, he had dreams and the gift of gab. Unfortunately, he didn't have the discipline necessary to secure a higher education and has been stuck yabbering about nonsense ever since.
