What you want me to believe is that there is a vast Emperors New Clothes conspiracy going on in climate study- where whole schools of thought are publishing flawed bullshit and getting away with it. This is a nice bedtime story told by someone who has not 'served time' in academia. But thats all it is. This is propaganda. Crap. It doesn't work that way.

Wouldn't be the first time. Here, allow me to site some instances where this flawed scientific BS fluorishes:

Cosmology (specifically, the big bang theory of origin to the universe as well as many other hare-brained string theory notions)
Healthcare:
Cancer treatment (chemotherapy is a sanitary modern day bloodletting)
Life extension and the entire field of cryogenics.
Cloning (Clones are genetically inferior and always will be, despite many who dream of animal and human clones emerging everywhere earning tons of money for their patented processes)

Climatology is a key example. These folks can't even accurately predict the weather in the next few hours but they are supposed to be able to tell us about global warming and its causes?

The peer review process is itself tainted by the forums which host it and facilitate it. From online peer review to publications which accept and seek out advertising dollars (aka AAAS' Science magazine) the peer review process itself is seldom unbiased. It's a start, but generally much good science is buried and underreported while much iffy science is glorified and pursued due to the political agenda of the publications, various educational and research institutions as well as corporate interests.

There have been many climate models which exclude the variables of the sun's influence and input into the atmosphere! Studies where the projected emissions of "greenhouse gases" are the sole factor in determining the catalyzing doom which these gases are supposed to represent to the planet.

What happened to the "clean the air as you drive" second generation catalytic convertor for cars? What forces try to stymie the concept of vehicles as not only non-polluting - but as a boon to the ecosystem?

These things must be suppressed, underreported and if at all possible stillborn at birth! Cars are the enemy of the hysterical political left and are the embodied symbol of capitalism. They simply cannot risk turning car-drivers into planet ecosystem savers - why that would NEVER do! Cars are the enemy! SUVs are commiting a "crime against humanity" (nope I didn't make that phrase up, it is Bowsers;-)

Global warming is a tool used by leftists to achieve their political agenda and try to pretend such an agenda is scientifically driven.

Taking away or taxing American's cars, banishing industry and creating mass conformity supported and enforced by law is the goal of these modern day Bolsheviks on the fringes of society. Usually they are supported by the poor and disillusioned who buy into this garbage and can then try and justify their jealousies and petty emotions saying they are really concerned for the planet. On the other side of the coin they are supported by the rich and jaded who also would like some elixir of social revolution to satiate their guilt.

That is the bottomline.
