Fixed it!!!

Well, it turns out it wasn't necessarily an XP thing it was a policy thing. I really hate policies, but I guess its a necessary evil.

Here's the solution if anyone cares:

Under the policy go to User Configuration/Windows Settings/Folder Redirection\

then right click the MyDocuments Folder

switch to the settings tab.

under policy Removal check the radio button that says:

"Policy Removal - change to redirect the folder back to the local user Profile Location when policy is removed."

after that relog in on the workstation, right click My Documents and voila you get a Reset Defaults button just like on win2000 workstations. Just reset the deafult and tell it to copy all info to local profile.

Thanks for the sentiment McFly, I appreciate the thought.

Now that the hard parts done I just need to spend about 5 minutes on every workstation. Luckily we aren't a big firm, so it won't take too long.
